VK HFFR 88 is a halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) based on phosphorus and nitrogen chemistry, specifically designed for polypropylene (PP), with and without glass fiber reinforcement. It provides efficient flame retardancy through an intumescent mechanism, forming a protective char layer that prevents flame spread while maintaining the mechanical and processing properties of PP.
